Well that being said I think that I am in the wrong place to be thinking of a michigan ice anglers assoc. Ill start another thread.. Although Im still game for going to any ice shanty get together.

How does the white river sound for this weekend chasing some salmon/trout, depending on how many salmon we see?

Where do you guys meet up? Midland park? I don't have a machine i'm on the creepers. Is it a hike to get on fish there? Never fished it.

It wasnt too much of a hike when i went last year. Pry only 1/4 mile. I've got about 6 buddies that are planning on coming too, plus my lab dog steele! Gonna get a bigger shanty tho before it gets here.

Haven't been on in quite awhile, too busy with work and fishing, I honestly don't think much about icefishing this time of year but I will definitely be there this winter, name the date and time, probably even haul the permanent shanty out there to fish in comfort. Keep me updated

Those light are sweet , looks awesome on the back of that boat in the water. Now i just need to get a boat haha

You can also use a auto headlight, I mounted one in a 4 gallon bucket and it woked great.I dont know about the BL lime......cant get it in a keg...., hey its a long night.

2009 will be my second year of Ice fishing, and I have a Brother in Law in SE MI. I have put the 28th on my calendar, and we will try to attend. Has a location been selected yet? Sorry if I missed it in an earlier post.

I figure I'll do at least half of my ice fishin' in MI this year, and I'm watching the MI Forum daily. Hope to see/meet some of you on the ice before the 28th. We will probably spend most of our time on Devil's and Bawbeese in SE MI.

Just under 100 miles from my BIL's house, so it's easily doable.
