Forage Minnow... Thanks Everyone

For spoons I mostly used gold Sweedish Pimples and do okay with them... but I've read countless posts where people reccomend the Forage Minnow, so I decided to pick up a couple in November.

Used one of them for the first time today and did well.  In 2 hours I got a fat Perch, a couple really nice 'Gills and a nice  little Pickerel.

Great looking Perch!  What do you tip with, Waxie or minnow?

They are a great lure, definetly my fav, i think i have 4 or 5 of each in every color my store carries them in lol

i've only gotten a chance to buy one, but it is extremely effective for perch and i wish sportsman's would stock more soon, because i want to try all the other colors.

my brother-in-law bought me one a week ago , the local bait shop had some and we had never seen or heard of them. i gota say i love them!!!!  all my fish this pas weekend was from a forage minnow jig.  




also got a 12 inch pickeral(no pic)

Great looking Perch!  What do you tip with, Waxie or minnow?

I was using those Berkley Waxies in pink.  I don't jig very much so I don't buy live waxies or spikes.  I do jig with dead minnows on small jig heads though, just not today.

Wow Peon, glad to see another forage minnow rookie had success!  Great fish!   Bass, bows, perch, gills and whities, thats a great day.

Forgot to add...use a minnow head or whatever u like to catch first decent perch, then pop out the eyes and put them on works every time

Thanks guys.. Havent used them much, but have 2, 1 minnow and 1 firetiger. Cant wait to try them now!
