I don't know why they call that Lake Lady O, there are many days she is not a Lady, and tomorrow will be one of them. Just sayin.
Don’t know how it’s on the lake , I live few miles south of Pulaski and it’s a white out with big wind
Yes sir 4.5 miles in a white out 1 way And it was nice of the fish to hang out another day 🎣🕳
I’d like some opinions on fishing walleyes and perch. By fishing to close to the bottom are you spooking the fish? I think it does, especially under a foot off of the bottom. I’m just wondering after a recent trip to the lake. I just feel like you’re not allowing them to get out of there comfort zone and if they’re around and fishing on the bottom you’re pushing them away because you’re to close to them. Opinions are much appreciated. Thanks, fishy
always carry a compass in the shanty and one on my coat
If you don’t just hunker down till it lets up 😉
i carry 2 ...one is pinned inside my shanty the other is pinned on my jacket another trick is stay quiet listen for cars or snow blows...never panick your better of sitting stay warm
Even with a compass when the weather is bad ,when I first started ice fishing Oneida a bad storm came up and the older man that I was with said compass or none set up and fish til it lets up your much safer as back then we didn’t have all the modern clothing we have today to this day if I’m on foot and it gets truly bad I wait it out , just call and say well dear see you when I get there
extra propane and coffee your all good
