Float Suit Sizing Questions
« on: Dec 04, 2007, 09:41 AM »
I'm considering buying a Mustang Survival flotation suit.  There are no dealers close by that I know of where I can try them on, and so I will probably need to order over the Internet.

For those of you who own these suits, how are they sized?  Are they loose or tight fitting?

I'm about 6'1'' and 210 lbs.  In street clothes, I usually buy a men's large or extra large, depending on the particular item.  For outdoors-use clothing, I usually go with an extra large so I have room to layer.

According to Mustang Survival's website sizing, it looks like a large would fit and an extra large would be too big, but I thought I remember reading somewhere that these suits are sized on the smaller side.

I don't really care for tight fitting clothes, and I don't plan on getting any smaller in my old age, unless I start shrinking.

Thor, when I got mine last year I did the same thing. Asked guys on here what size they got. If I can remember, I'll check mine tonight and give you an idea of what fits me.
