Finally got my buddy up to fish with me , as well as my wife…. we pulled up plenty of fish including a 3lb slime dart and several large crappies which were taken filleted and frozen for later…..hope to get out 1 last time, fingers crossed

Was hoping March would hold ice until the end, but at this rate one more trip may be all there is left.

The weather has been nice to get out some new folks. I introduced the sport to three new members early in the season. They haven’t stopped asking if we are going again . Take care and have a wonderful open water season
