we went out from duck creek this morning too. Two days two perch, 2 eyes, 3 ling, and lots of trout again top to bottom. Moved 5 times today, nothing anywhere, found em last Sunday and just vanished this weekend fished from 28 to 40 marked a few on the bottom but very few. Ready to go to LMR this week and  catch some fish there. Hopefully they turn back on and show back up in a couple weeks.

Went out to Canyon last weekend saturday and sunday. Fished by the dikes and both days were sllllooowwww. Caught 5 or 6 decent rainbows all weekend and that was it. Did see one pretty big Ling on the camera, but it wasn't interested in the pimple i had down there. Idk if it was just us, or if the fishing was slow in that area this weekend. Also I was curious if anyone ever fishes the ponds on the south end? Are they safe to fish and are there any fish under the ice in there?

Two of us fished just north of the dikes yesterday with no fish landed.  We had a total of about a dozen and a half light bites between us, and we each had one solid hit, but just couldn't hook them.  Only saw two fish caught by others in the vicinity all morning.  Ice was 14 inches.

I would think there would be the same species of fish in the ponds as the rest of canyon, but I guess if the bodies of water aren't connected maybe not.. Me and buddy were considering trying to fish them, but if there are only carp in there then I don't think we will.

I say go for it...in the spirit of the immortal words of Frank Zappa:

You'll never know until you fish it!

Thinking of taking a buddy of mine out Monday. Where is the dead sea? If anyone has any luck over the weekend, would seriously appreciate the reports.
Thanks

Not yet but I will have my boat set up to make a serious try this year.

Very slow bite on Saturday. FWP fish counter said he hadn't even seen a perch all day. 14" of ice.
