Got to get on Pony Creek yesterday! Ice was 6" to 8" thick with no worrying at all. Fishing was half bad either!

Nice to hear the ice held up; would not have thought it would. Glad you got into them.

Hey Haugboss' that was us; ended up getting into a few decent ones about 45 minutes before dark; 1/16 ounce chartreuse Swedish pimple tipped with anything seemed to do the trick; got enough for a meal. It was nice meeting you as well.

Flint didn't have number. Also didn't think about it.😕
Yes good to meet guys. The plan going into a Lake blind was fish the holes everybody else had been already I didn't realize there were are gonna be a 1000 holes drilled out there. 😂🤣😂🤣

Does Pony Creek still have decent ice? Gonna be in the area this weekend and can fish a small farm pond. Just didnt know if it would still have ice.

A couple of us were on it this afternoon; ice next to the bank and shallow areas eroding quickly; we stayed until nearly 8 pm tonight and the crappie stayed on til about 715pm pretty decent and got 6 keepers after dark. Be careful if you go; an older gentleman went through late this afternoon south end closer to the reeds;fairly shallow where he went through; about waist deep; I was on my way back to my truck and helped him out of the hole and saved his sled with all his gear. If anyone goes from here on; I would recommend a spud bar; especially walking anywhere close to shallow water areas or the banks.

Anyone been out to check the ice lately? Last friday when i went by it was mostly open but when came back by on sunday it looked locked up. Planning on going back to nebraska next weekend and figured i might stop and check it out.
