You get on the ice very early to your favorite spot.
You drill your holes.
You're catching perch after perch.
Then some "BOZO" comes along and decides even though you're on a big body of water he has to drill holes right next to you.
He makes plenty of noise spooking all the perch.
Some ice fishermen have no etiquette.
For that matter some have no common sense.
Great Sticker!!!

Yep, had a guy see what I was catching and set up right next to me, felt great when I had my limit and he hadn't caught anything.

You'd have to set off a bomb to spook perch away. Drilling holes with an auger attracts perch, we drill holes to attract them all the time. I don't really care if people drill next to me if they stop and chat. Good grief,  they are only some slimy little fish.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

i see perch on my camera heading toward noise really often. I watched them following a Snobear several times one afternoon. I know a guy who starts his diesel pickup and lets it idle when the Perch bite slows down. While fishing for Walleye in shallow water I had a guy fishing my holes while crunching around with his Arctic Spurs. He was using 5' open water rods and laying them on the ice. The Walleye quit biting so my son and I left the area. I heard a crunch and realized I had accidentally pulled my loaded sled over one of his rods when we left. Things happen I guess.  ::)
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I think I'm going to make one of those, the size of a House for sale sign !  Tired of getting set up early for Night time Smelt fishing ,only to have  a bunch of noisy Slobs set up 15-20 yds. from me .
