Just heard over my fire scanner that a snowmobile went through the ice up near Rumford, Maine. I'm not sure if the driver made it out or not. Just another reminder to the ice fishermen to be safe and dont take any chances! If you dont know, dont go.

yeah about a dozen a year do it up here. a good portion of them are from out of state on rented machines. $:-\$ At any rait lets all be carefull huh? I can't waite to get out there and fish but not at the expence of my life. more warm weather and possably rain on X-Mas....boy the seasons isn't starting out good.

Update on Snowmobile:
I heard that it was only in 4 foot of water. I assume the driver is ok.

Yah whats up with rain on Christmas??? I was hoping for 10 below zero!!! although im glad its not that right now because my furnace quit tonight

i feel for you. i had a trip planned with esox last winter and mine went out the night before. took the stupid ass 10 days to fix it too. hope your repair man is better than that one was!

You and the family always have an open invite to come up. I hope to be out atleast one day every weekend and maybe a few during the week. We still on for Willoughby? I think Tony agreed to be "Guide" for the day.
