Has anyone ice fished a lake the same way they do in the summer. Hitting points, bars, weedlines, etc in your flipover ,just as though you did in you boat ?  Covering lots of water in a day . Were the results better than setting up on known good spots & waiting it out typical of most icefishing ?

I will move around alot but I can't say like in my boat - the trolling motor don't work for crap on the ice

I do quite a bit...seems to work ok, but depends on the body of water

Depends on the body of water. I usually will run and gun if I am fishing on my own. If I am after pike,  I will set my traps and wander around them jigging.

If I am out with buddies, set some traps, relax, jig a little.
