We're out in the cold because we're numbskulls, others are because they have to be. If you get a chance this year take a less fortunate kid ice fishing. I would rather spend a 15 days out fishing for monsters and catch 1 than waste my time with anything under 5#'s. That's why I use big hooks, bait and tackle. God forbid the one time I get a true trophy on I'm using a bass set up?

Post by: Penguin on Dec 24, 2003, 07:09 PM: I'm going to enjoy the holidays with my family, and use the warm weather to get everything ready for the ice when it comes. Maybe even take the canoe out Sunday if it gets up around 50 like the weather-guy says. Gotta make the best of what ya got.
