Frabill Ranger Solo

I have made the jump to MFF for the summer but hard deck fishing is still on the brain. With warmer weather, it seems like a lot of "not so dedicated" folks are selling ice fishing gear. Works for me. picked up a Frabill Ranger Solo flipover pretty reasonable. Cant wait to try it out next year. With a few modifications to the swivel seat, I think I can lighten it up several pounds.

Ranger solos were the best 1 man shacks made.  More roomy than most 1 man shacks.  I've used mine for 10 years, great shack.

Best time to buy is in the off season! I picked up my portable last July for short money.

The only problem is spending all those months looking at it longingly, setting it up in the yard and sitting in it, and making people think you're insane.
