Good luck to all on this last weekend. For us in the eastern part of the lakes region conditions look great. Still plenty of ice and easy access from from shore in most areas. Temps in the 40s, with some rain. Care is always advised.   Have fun and let us hear some reports.

Last weekend for the lake trout/salmon lakes but there will be enough ice to fish some other ones especially up north and west. Good luck this weekend.

I plan on heading up this weekend for my last official trip of the season.

My main concern is going to be shore access on the waters I want to try.

Since most of the waters in the Moultonborough / Meredith areas had close to 2 feet of ice a couple of weeks ago, they should still be good. The shoreline will be the issue. I could plank it if I needed to, but that's a last resort.

Look for places facing north where you get on. The south facing shores are opening up fast.
