This is my first year ice fishing for crappies.I found a steap drop at the end of an sunken island, 23 ft. The lake has 80 ft holes. I built a perm. shanty with 8 holes. We caught about 100 threw them ,all in Feb. ,11-13 in, then they moved into 14 ft flats. Most on the bottom with minnows #14 trebbels. Very agressive bite! Like clockwork 7:30 pm. and then every 20 min? Never seen them on the finder, hit and run? Looking forward to sping spawn run, ice out! Hope this helps somone. Later,WallI.
