Ya would you go there to jig Lakers over LG?  I know the answer!

I would and did .
To me I'd rather be in the free outdoors than in the park zoo

Nothing free and outdoorsy about the snow mobiles you mentioned.

They are just a PIA, come and go quickly.
For me , its like going to the salmon river in peak time to secure your spot  or go to the other less popular places instead.
Granted,  apple's to oranges compared but a tug is still a drug.
I prefer the off and beaten path.
Last Saturday,  there was not a car in the lot because they all packed the circus tent.
I get it , but I'm over the o dark thirty stuff

I’ve fished lake George for the last 4 days and haven’t saw another person on the ice. With a little research there are plenty of places to fish LG without any crowds.

Not saying that's not true.
It's the exception to the rule though.
Come a month from now I will  probably switch places

I don’t think it’s an exception at all, but you can’t go to the 3 or 4 most talked about and accessible areas on the lake and expect privacy.

You can go to the public access and join the circus.  I don't have private access.

Even then,  you can treak to those not so public areas only to find others that do the same, be it private or public.
I've never found a place on lake George where Ive had solitude.
Agreed that is a figure of interpretation.

I Don’t have private access anywhere on the lake. Just have put in time finding tucked away less known spots and don’t put them out on the internet.

It's easy to find those spots.  Just drive around the lake 1x during the day on a Saturday.  Even so I fish the zoo spots...I catch just fine.

Never fished in the Adirondacks, but I'd love to try Schroon next week.  Only info I have is three boat launches on the DEC map.  Are any of them plowed in winter?  Any other public parking available?  Thanks in advance.
