Seen a drone out there.  Kids playing so we let them have fun.
No videos but yesterday and today were EPIC with my 7 year old grandson.
Thanks Terry 👍

fished both saturday and sunday
had very good action on jigs in depths from 35-45feet
we had 15 or so each day ranging from 12-23inches
the tip ups only produced one lone 20incher the flags were quiet all weekend
half the lakers were 16-17inchers
had a solid 6-7inches everywhere we drilled and no issues with lake access

We found the same.  Not as much action but everyone caught a fish.
Super bonus.

We don't care about numbers,  only smiles.
My grandson caught this one all by himself jigging using a vex.
Pretty sure now his dad will be opening the wallet.

How much ice on schroon?

There were ATV 's out on north and middle section.
There is no snow on ice and easy dragging.  Unless you're planning on going a long distance,  please leave the machines home for now

That's awesome.  By the way the numbers reference was making fun of wicked tuna...I dont use GPS to mark spots.  I like lakers.

No wicked here,  just a hot tuna doing his thing since probably before most were born.
What's a GPS  ? We still use maps in my house,  lol.

Yea brother,  got'em 😀

Leave the ATV home,  they were annoying  when you can easily walk.
Exercise is a good thing.

Hopefully we can get the Atv’s out on the ice this weekend. I have too much crap on my sled to walk very far. All the drone batteries make the sled hard to pull.  ;D

Teach a kid right how to learn without the easy road.
What a shame for some in the future.
All my kids know how to read a map and haul gear. Thankfully they share that with their children for the future.

Because it’s hard to read a map or Walk with a sled full of gear ? We go fishing to have fun. Rowan likes taking his atv on ice fishing trips. So why wouldn’nt we use them ? Just because we fish in different ways doesn’t make it wrong. Rowan’s only 11 and he’s got more skills on the water and ice when most adults I see out lol

Ok, someday you'll realize there is more to fishing.
Nothing drives me crazy more than lazy people.
Enjoy
