Not sure people have been out.  Last week the edges were gone.

Dang!!  Was hoping wind push iced back to shore.  I was thinking the north end must be getting pretty open too....with the river???

River channel in front of Fowler doesn't look good.  Might be able to find fishable ice in front of the beach southward.  As fast as the Narrows opened up I'm really hesitant to say there is safe ice out there, but there probably is.

Might see the ice firm up a bit with the cold temps.  The glowing ball in the sky is gonna make that tough though.

Thank you again SchrnLker.  Where did the narrows open up??  It was pretty solid once we got on last weekend.   Might take trip up Saturday....scout about for Sunday AM.

Might not be the best ice to go venture out on if you have not fished the lake before.  I may take the ride up Sunday to take a look with another stop in mind just in case.

Well....after yesterday you can't cross the ridge that goes across from Eagle Point.  Have to stay north or south of it.

yeah, finding a pressure ridge we couldn't cross - now that was a first!   Walked the length of it, had to go right to shore to get around it.   I measured 8" of ice out there.   Was able to drive down the hill with 4wd.
