Im sitting on the ice right now. Anybody have a boat to come get me?  :P lots of water on the ice from this rain. Still plenty of ice though. 11" where i am. White on top, and if this water freezes there will be another 2-3" of white

Edges were fine at the narrows. Tried getting on champ today and the edges were gone, so schroon it was. Trying for pike now. Missed the hookset on my one flag. Next time....

I'm interested to hear the weather up there today.  It poured like crazy down here to the point I got a wet basement.

Surprising number of guys out there today, with wheelers.  Large areas of water on top, edges good, but wet.  Lake should come up over night, as Schroon River, and the tribs are ripping today.  Temps currently in the mid forties, but will drop later today.  Low tonight 12*, high Fri 19*, low Fri night 1*.  Should be fine.

Gonna shoot out on paradox in the morning to try for some pike. Access is at the campground correct?

Schroon has also risen dramatically,  ice has pulled away from shoreline.  Some spots worse than others.  In town at the launch to the right is shot for now, til water goes down, to the left is ok.  If in doubt, bring a plank.

Any idea how the access is to the narrows? Gonna try getting on somewhere in the morning.  Anybody wanna partner up and do some jigging? I'd rather not fish alone with these conditions.

Adkrs will be fishing the Narrows tomorrow.  Lake came up so edges are a little questionable, at least til it comes back down.  Some spots you can walk right on, others a plank would be helpful.

I'll be there around 6ish. I have waders, rope, and an 8 ft  plank.  I'll find a way on somehow.

The edges are not so bad that you can't get on, just got to look around.  Once you're on there's 15" good ice.
