Left work early and came out of apps on the sled. Great ride out a few miles.             4 wheeler won't have a problem with 4x4
Bite is slow fish are here though making a move soon. 16" of ice and good music playing behind me. No wind and blue skies. Couple tournament's tomorrow here. Rick says he will be at the shop at 430. Cheers.
what are the tournaments?

Fairly easy walk.

You will have to call apps unless someone here knows.

Walked out off Sylvan Beach this morning to 23 fow.  Quite a workout.  Tried a few holes but just couldn't find many marks.  At 11:30 I called it and began the walk back in.  Tried one last hole in 20 fow and found some fish.  Stayed another couple of hours and managed a dozen nice perch and one keeper walleye.  Lost one more keeper eye on the way up and one at the hole.  The walk back in was much easier following machine trails.  Thats a wrap for my ice season on Oneida.  Back to some strictly perch waters closer to home.

Had a great day with my dad with both of us catching a limit of walleye , they made us work for it but every eye was worth the work

Can someone please go point the camera at Chapmans in the right direction, not Lady O's best angle. That wind storm knocked it out of position.  ::) ;D

It's back

Fished out of Lewis and later Chapman today. Drifts were worse at Lewis, chugged along with the wheeler in 2nd. Lots of marks, but not many takers. Snatched up two nice perch.

Broke the damn eskimo hypercoil tonight. Anyone know if any shops stock them?  Up here with a buddy from PA. Hand auger did not make the trip.

Got out with my old ice fishing partner. He had surgery before Christmas and hasn’t been able to get out much this winter. We ended up having a great evening on the eyes. He caught 5 keepers and lost a couple on way up and I caught 7 keepers and a nice perch. One of the fish I tossed back was a beautiful 26 1/2” male. The bite was awesome and marked a lot of fish. They were hitting the rap with the minnow head and bare. It didn’t matter either way. Nice to see the bite heating back up. Enjoy it tomorrow everyone. Here’s the 3 that I kept

Nice job Scout. Awesome weather for sure today. I snuck out after the SU game and brought home a couple meals of perch. The walleyes did not want to play for me tonight.

Made my first ever trip on the big lake today. Went with a couple of buddies off Sylvan Beach. Drag out was pretty bad going in all the snow.  Walking in snowmobiles tracks was easier. Fished in 15-20 fow. Had a very rough day. Very little perch action but my one buddy managed a 20" walleye. Oh well, we will give it another shot some time. Was a beautiful weather day and we ended up with sunburns. Who would have thought you could get sunburns in March?  ;D

Took the kids out to tip up fish today with some of their friends on the west end. No fish but we all had a blast and enjoyed a beautiful day out there!

Nasty out on the north shore right now. Freezing rain and wind is at a steady 15-20. Glad we got our fill in last few days. Gonna be a mess out there soon with all that snow on the lake and warming temps. Good luck out there

There was quite a bit of snow on the ice this weekend and with the warming temps it might be pretty slushy out there. T-shirt weather Saturday afternoon.
