You can have it Trapp!!   I’m in Elbridge and we only got 1 or 2 inches.  I was plowing in Syracuse up to C Square.  Those areas got off easy (so far anyway). Looking at the radar and it’s cranking up North again.    Amen reeleyz!!!   Great ice season!!!   Ice will hang around late this year too.  Love it!!

Looks like we dodged the snow on the north shore. Only got an additional inch or 2 overnight.

Any place have small buckeyes around here, or are we stuck with rosies and fatheads for the rest of the month? Thanks A lot. :)

No prob Fred.

Tim I was wondering about the emeralds myself. Don’t really like the golden shiners.

Local bait shop in Rochester that is always stocked with large and small emeralds says they're done for the year.

Rick only has large emeralds at apps i was in there this morning. Lookin like it's getting tough to find those perfect small ones anywhere these days.. north shore got a fresh 2-3" overnight and travel on the wheelers is doable with a little common sense.

1-3" overnight out from the north shore ended up having to run kids to school this morning and didn't go out till 10:30 fished till noon ended up drilling one hole and just landing right on fish pulled 12 fish up in that hour and half was almost non stop. After number 2 I stopped tipping the rap with a minnow head...

Nice job Riot! I fished from 4:30-6 this evening. Ended up with one keeper eye and lost 2 others. They seemed more active than last couple times I’ve been out. Only saw 2 other shacks out there in the wind storm tonight. Travel was the best I’ve seen on the sled so far.

Fat Nancy's in Pulaski had them last week.  At least they had a tank labeled so.  I looked in the tank and saw they were small but didn't verify if they were actually buckeyes

I usually fish Williams for perch.  I am taking a dad and two kids out this weekend for their first trip ever.  Can anyone recommend the best place on South Shore to go for newbies that will be walking?  I was chinking Chapman might be better.  I don’t care what we catch, they just want to catch “A” fish.  They are 10 and 12 years old and I am not sure they will be prepared to last more than 1-2 hours.

I’m out on Chapman now with the wheeler.  Definitely need four-wheel-drive, some drifts but manageable.  We will see as it warms up a little today. Couple perch.

Left work early and came out of apps on the sled. Great ride out a few miles.             4 wheeler won't have a problem with 4x4
Bite is slow fish are here though making a move soon. 16" of ice and good music playing behind me. No wind and blue skies. Couple tournament's tomorrow here. Rick says he will be at the shop at 430. Cheers.
