DIY Spoon Box
« on: Dec 16, 2017, 03:34 PM »
So, I've been looking at getting spoon box for the spoons ice bought recently. But I already had some 2" thick foam that I could use to make my own. I went to Walmart and Farm and Fleet looking for deep Plano 3700 series boxes. No luck. Instead I bought this Sterilite box I though would do the job. It works good but the latches don't seem to hold very tight. But the box was only $2.63 and I got the foam from work... Free.

Anyway, here are a few photos :

Nice work! Spoon boxes are easy, especially if you have a foam source. I've used some Sterlite boxes for some stuff and found it not very durable. Wound up paying more to replace less frequently.

They resize on my phone. But I would have to resize the original photos and re-upload then to my isp

The box will mostly stay on the bottom of my new cabela's tackle bag I got for only $10 on a brads deal with free shipping. It's was really free as I had some cabela's points to use.

After adding my spoons I realize how little quantity of spoons I have. Waiting for more FishUSA deals to get more.

they had pro slender spoons for 1.99 a few weeks ago. I got 20 or so, killer deal. i like that the black marks you made for the slots show where they are. may have to mark my clam spoon box that way.

I got the marker idea from a YouTube video I saw.

I tried to resize my photos using an app on my tablet. But all it did was make the photo grainy. The size was still the same for some reason. I'll have to play around with it some more.
