POST IMAGE issues

Is any other member having trouble with PostImage ..I have noticed certain threads no longer have/display images  ..these thread in particular ..

Not certain if its a site wide issue ..other threads seem fine..and I seem to be able to post images normally.

no problem other than servers busy/overloaded so they give you the 503 error saying so.

the links you gave had pics on auger mount and a error code 503 on the other.

seems like they need to add servers. probably worse at prime times.

Wasn't their some limitations on their service? Like how many pics you could share, or how many views were allowed before some kind of cap was imposed? I saw a few of my pics had that same error so I deleted them.

Images uploaded by both anonymous uploads and free accounts are limited to 12Mb and 10k x 10k pixels.

How many images can I upload in general?

I emailed them yesterday in case they were not aware of the situation. Here is their response earlier this AM:

can't you log-in and download your pics and re-up them using post image? they have an app for windows i like to use. i haven't logged in for a long time with them, but i could get them if i wanted.

Yes I logged in...but can't even get to my photos unless I give them a credit card number.  Why do I need to give them that, when it was free hosting?  It's just how the photos were organized and how they were linked up to different posts.  Maybe someday, I will update again with photos.  I'm not a photo type of person anyways.

Logged into PB for the first time in years after having to reset forgotten password and was able to download one of my old photos without issues....

amazing, i tried to login and they closed my account. created it jan 1999. that's ok with me, i still have the photos. one of my firewalls was going nuts while i was trying to login.
