Went back out, it snowed about 3-4" last night, so the ice didn't grow much. Got three pike today, on top of the usual perch and slimers. Biggest around 25", smallest around 20". The smaller ones came on a chubby darter, somehow managed to land one even though it swallowed the lure down to its gills! Bigger one came on the tipup. First flag of the season!

Cool!  Always like the non-stocker-trout ice reports.  I was rippin a rattletrap with no luck today for LMB.  Maybe should have broke out the chubby.

I love chubbies! They don't always pull in numbers, but they attract big fish

It was about 3" near shore saturday, and more like 4" sunday. A few crazies were walking across the lake, so the quality of the ice is really good. I'll be bacl out there this weekend...
