Always use a second teardrop. More hooks means more fish...also legal here.

I do most of the time on tip ups. Usually 2 minnows but sometimes a minnow on bottom and mags or waxie up top, figure the minnow keeps the grub moving haha.

My experience with an extra hook of any kind is that it will always hook the edge of the ice and then bye bye fish....

I actually use a hand tied fly like an ears hare. I tie it anywhere from 1-2' above my bottom jig. Last year I managed to catch a few bluegills on the fly.

i usually only use 2 jigs on dead rods. sometimes 2 teardrops, other times a teardrop above and a tiny spoon below. great tactic to use for panfish.

I have out fished my buddies many times doing that. Put a little gill pill about 12" above a slender spoon or forage minnow = success for me. I think sometimes the smaller fish going at the top hook actually trigger the bigger fish to go for it.

I run 2 quite often, I wouldn't say one of them "always" hooks the ice but it does happen often enough that I am rethinking using that second hook.  I think it increases my hook ups but also increases my losses at the hole, 6 of one half dozen of the other.  Two hooks was working pretty good this past weekend on small kokanee and 6 inches of ice, maybe I just need to rethink when and how I use two hooks.  I often run two under tip ups generally on thicker ice for ling and don't remember it being and issue for those.

Only legal here if I don't use live or natural bait. Artificial only.
Quote- fishslap: I use a variety:  whistlin' bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' kitty chaser

I use two hooks quite often, maybe I'm lucky, but I've never lost a fish due to catching a hook on the edge of the hole, for that matter I don't believe I've ever snagged at all.One observation,99% of the fish I catch hit the lower bait/ lure, and on a few occasions I've caught single fish with both hooks in their mouths, trout seem to be the ones that take both more often.

I use 2 presentations on the same line very regularly. My tungsten obviously on the bottom and 95% of the time a small to medium (#16 to #12) fly 8" to 16" my main line. This is referred to as the Michigan rig. You must tie it right or won't get the bites. Last season I pulled 2 fish out of the hole twice and caught dozens of bonus fish on the fly through out the season.
I tried sky diving once.....went to Google Earth and zoomed in really fast
