TV show on Manitoba Pike thru the ice

I just caught the last 5 minutes of a show on OLN - channel 608 on directv. They were catching Northerns on Lake of the Woods. The show is We Live Outdoors and will be on again Sunday 4-3-05 at 11:00am eastern std time. Just thought you might try to catch it. You don't see too many shows about ice fishing.

I caught the whole show. Its great to see a whole show being dedicated to ice fishing. The main guy behind the show is the owner of Gander Mountain and he makes that trip to LOTW every winter for pike. I loved when he said he gets people asking if the ice is still safe and he replies "Well I wouldn't reccommend it" and then in they cut to a shot of a piece of heavy farm equiptment on the ice.

Anyone know where on LOTW they were? There quite a bit of water to cover on that lake.

i seen it as well i believe they said it was buffalo bay or buffalo something

Yeah, those were some nice pike they were catching. I believe it was buffalo somthing.

Prolly is Buffalo Bay then. I've never fished it but thats a popular spot for northerns. A lot of American anglers go there as it borders on Minnesota.
