Thanks for the comments, I sure was pumped. Especially seeing it come in on the cam. caught on a 5in. chub he first came up to the bait , stopped about two inchs away and just looked at it. I didnt move a muscle , he finnally sucked it in and swam of , I set the hook and felt him maybe 2 seconds, and then he was gone, dissapointed i reeled up the mangled chub, put a new one on, bigger, and dropped it down again, in a few minutes he was back and took it again, this time I left him run about 20 sec. and then set hook. After 5 minutes on 8lb test and tangling another line and camera cable ,I pulled him out. He's going on the wall. I dont make a habit of keeping big fish, I normally take pics then release them. but for me a 10lb walleye has been very elusive.
