glenwood lake medina ny

Anyone ever ice fish this lake?? and if so ever catch anything here? i live fairly close so a new place to try would be great? Thanks for any info!

I've fished it in the soft water and caught bass pike and walleye tough to fish very deep not alot of structure.  I've never tried ice fishing it there some pretty good current in it , not sure how good ice would ever be. If you try good luck and be careful.

Thanks for the info. Drive by there every couple weeks and never seen a footprint out there. I have heard of walleye and bass being caught there but not Pike. How deep is it?? I will prolly just wait till open water. Am sure there is a good reason no footprints out there. Any good tips for open water?  Thanks

I've only fished it a couple of times had good luck with rattle traps, go up the creek channel early spring for eyes.  As for depth I know it's 40+ and it drops off quick from shore. There also used to be a ton of carpet in there, I started bow fishing it . That's what I had the most success at there.
