Tanks

Hit the ice yesterday and did pretty good for nice perch.  Took the fly rod out today on some front range open water.  Caught a tank of a perch, several nice crappie, some small bass, a few bluegill, and one trout. Mostly on snow cone chironomids except the perch which was on a small clouser.

I would have butchered a pile of crappies but I had perch fillets waiting at home.

I forgot to mention that there was a river otter in this lake playing around while I was fishing.  I thought he might come near me at one point.  Looked very curious.

Thanks guys.  We’ve eaten perch twice this week so once we clear out the backlog I’m going to resupply with paper mouths.
