Sometimes the best fishing doesn't even involve fish.  Good friends, good food, and good times...a few hits and many lookers, but not one fish iced.  The Crack can be a cruel mistress, but it didn't stop us from having a great morning and lunch.  We had elk chili, smoked ribs, jumbalaya, green chili, brats, and a few cold ones.  A few fish tales were told, and it was a great time.  Thanks to all who joined, IFF, Mountain Maggot, superp13, Johnny019, Sawtooth and his friend.  Looking forward to doing it again soon...maybe with a few fish thrown in!

Nice meeting you guys.  I will have to remember, next time to be quiet, Its been said "Your not learning anything when you talking" LOL Glad you enjoyed the smoked ribs. Maybe next time we can do a fish fry.

Was a great morning!  Weather and conversations were perfect, even saw a pretty big coyote. Would of been nice for someone to land a fish, but we'll get'em next time  Was nice putting some faces to names, and thank you all for the wonderful food!

Well at least between the "Honey Do's" I got the carb rebuilt. Tomorrow hope to get the new brushes and bearings in the I-Pilot.

It truly was.  Amazing smoked ribs with the meat falling off the bone, fabulous elk chili, fried onions and sausages on soft, moist buns, outstanding green chili pulled chicken, and spicy jambalaya.  I ate so much that dinner had to be postponed that evening for an extra hour or two.
