Not something I make a habit of.  The ice was quality for the thickness.  Should be closer to 4” this weekend.  I heard people have been fishing Douglas res on 3-4” this weekend.

Went by a few lakes yesterday afternoon up north. Very high winds today and yesterday up here keeping the lakes open. Boyd partially open, whitecaps. Lon Hagler pretty much open, whitecaps.Loveland 60 percent capped better, but shielded from the winds. Just fyi

Nice, wind was howling yesterday afternoon. I drove past the marina but did not go to ramp area. Main lake had whitecaps

Yah the Marina and the inlet canal to the south were the only safe areas on Tuesday.
