It should hold thru this warm spell as long as we don't get a lot of rain...supposes to be windy

Killed them out there early today and then went to flint it was slower but we nailed them!  Best day of the year as leading up to this weekend it has been hit or miss for me.

Took the wife and boys out tonight. The honey hole was to weak for us to get on, so I brought them to Loomis instead. Haven’t fished this lake in years, and I never fished it during ice season. Tip ups were slow, but they did manage one small lrg mouth that we released. Thanks for the “shout out” from the near by fishing crew for the tip-up!  ;) The bite turned on the hr before sunset and kept up til dark when we left. I caught one crappie and some gills, but the boys lit them up. We ended up with 32 between us. Everyone had a blast and many funny memories were made.  ;D

How early were you out there? We fished from 6:15-9:30 there was only 1 other guy out there other than us, none of us were killing them we were out by the beach did catch a few nice ones and 1 nice perch but they had lock jaw.

Nice job, we fished Loomis on Sunday from 6:15 in the morning till about 9 right out front from the beach in about 8-9 foot of water they were down there but had lock jaw.

Fished 13 fow. I was dealing with a lot of line tangles and a couple hooks to the hands. Boys always have to learn the hard way!  ;D At one point, I kicked them out of the shanty just so I could get a line down lol. The lake was making a lot of noise and cracking.

Hounds, she was defiantly making me uncomfortable having the Fam out with me. She'll put on more thickness with this cold snap. Be safe!
