Yeah still ment lower long lake, his nephew lives out there so we have access to it with him. And i didn't notice to much trash at sylvan when I was out there at the places I was. Maybe it was just the places I fished or didnt see it while walking. Either way I usually pick it up but it's unfortunate that people will do that due to laziness.

I never understood the lazyness of trashing the ice. I'm a smoker and I always drop the hots off my smoke and the butt goes in my sled...

Went to Sylvan and parked at GSP Sunday morning, no issues; was surprised to find no one else there.  Walked down to the lake fished multiple spots, shallow and then moved to deeper water.  Not much luck, a few lookers and finally got a small crappie top side.  Did not see any trash on the path or on the ice.  I'm sure folks picked up after those that don't know how to pack their trash out...

Left around 10 AM at which point one other guy had arrived at the parking lot.  From there went over to Cree lake but didn't do any better, got a small bass top side.

Going to give it one last go this weekend chasing toothy critters up north, a combo of tip ups and jigging a rattle trap ought to do.  After that, time to get the long rods ready...

Must have been rumor about the parking over there.  I only parked at GSP once this year early.

that's good hear.  I don't fish out of there much but good to hit every couple years.  that's one place the frozen poop piles in the parking lot can trip ya! lol

yea my son and i want to go, but we will see what the rain and wind does. hoping to get out one more time,
but not gonna take chances if ice is pulled away from shore.
