Rod Case
« on: Jan 05, 2020, 08:39 AM »
Looking for ideas for a new rod case. I live in Northern Sask and spend a lot of time on a sled with my rods behind me in the Sleigh. I need something that will keep my Lake Trout rods in one piece! Lets see what you guys are using!

THanks

I use rifle cases summer and winter. They are nice for long ice rods. Plano are affordable but you can get higher quality if you spend more.

I also use a rifle case for my rods in the winter on my sled. Way cheaper and better quality than a rod case specifically designed for ice fishing rods. Cabelas charges $120 for a cheaply made Frabill ice fishing rod case. I bought my rifle case for $30 and it’s is a lot more durable than the Frabill rod case. I can store 3 rod and reel combos in it and a 4th rod on its own.
