How accurate is this if one was to consider wind speeds and sun intensity, among other variables?

It's not a science at all but 24hrs at -20c generally gets ya an inch of growth.   Of course ice thickness, current, springs etc are all variables.

Had a good day on the Ice at High House (On The East side of Last Mountain Across the he lake from Triple T). Ice was 12 to 14 inches so we drove onand set up in 30 feet of water. Quite a variety yesterday Perch Walleye Burbot and Tullibee. Caught one nice Jumbo 14 inch perch . We saw a lot of trucks on the Ice it is good hard black ice for the most part. We saw at least half a dozen trucks across the Lake at Triple T.

Anglerbrian   did you buy a permit to use the access or is that just for launching a boat?

I think that is just for using the launch in summer.I have been fishing that area for ages and if they put up a donation  box I would gladly donate. There are many other places to access the lake near High House though.

Last Mountain Lake - Regina Beach area - Thurs - Dec 19th

Ice thickness 15.5" to 16" about 300 yards out from the north side across from Regina Beach pier (near Sundale resort).

3 species - Perch, Walleye and Pike.  All good size, but only 7 for the day.

Two days in a row near Little Arm, approximately 16 inches of ice with little snow makes it easy to get around on the lake. Trail from Kinookimaw down to Little Arm still sucks, not sure if you can drive on the ice from Regina Beach to Little Arm or not. Mixed bag of smallish walleye, perch, and the odd tulibee. 19 feet of water. Good luck to everyone heading out over the holidays and Merry Christmas!

Hey Bud I was not too far from there just a little east.m I accessed the lake at High House East side and drove across to about 36 FOW. Fishing was awesome Jumbo perch medium perch Walleye and Tullibee with 1 whitefish.  24 perch at the end and three walleye.

When I see these pics on the phone they are fine but on the computer too big. I used to like photobucket but no way am I paying for it IMGUR is free.

That is correct High House is now Called Canyon beach but if you go on at tripple t go south a few hundred yards then head east until you find about 33 to 38 feet of water and give it a go. Good luck finding the schools of perch. I will be out there today.

Fished at sarnia beach on sat Jan 4 . Set up camera in 5 different spots and seen one pike . Fished at 40 ft to 12 ft.  One 14lb pike caught. 3 of us fishing. Was surprised to see nothing swimming around.
