On Saturday Silver Lake in Hollis had 6 plus inches of good ice left, but also has its share of frozen and not so frozen slush on top making the walk out a drag.
As always check as you go, conditions are changing fast and there are some "hidden" holes under the slush that have not refrozen.

howd you do fishing there?
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Nothing big to speak of... pulled in 3 bass and as many pics... others I was with brought up a few perch.

Flags were frequent enough most of the morning to keep people busy... and the weather was warm... so it was a good day.
