This warm weather and rain will have some impact on the lower state lakes. The good side we see this every year and with a couple of good cold nights and any water on top of the ice freezes down. I am heading to Higgins lake for 4 days this weekend. Will spend one day up to lake Margrethe and the rest of my time on Higgins. Need some smelt for the summer. Maybe everyone has all the dinks caught out which will leave me to find the bigger perch. Come on guys the name of the game is have fun but be careful. Good ice time only happens for 1 to 2 mo. at the best unless your a UPPER. SEE YOU ON THE ICE
