Folding trailer build
« on: Aug 30, 2023, 04:25 PM »
Starting to think about building a trailer for hauling my ice fishing stuff to the lake. Last year I bought a 4x8 folding trailer for this purpose. I did get sides and a front wall made. But haven't figured out how I want to put a roof on it.  This is what I want to do. I can fit my Bay Runner in the rear and other gear in the front. Any ideas would be helpful.

Any cover that would fit a p/u truck bed should work & a saddle tool box?

I don't have a place to store a topper. I can take the boards off and store them in my garage.

Not a cap "topper". I was thinking a tri-fold cover or button down heavy fabric type. Any junk yard should have em' cheap

I thought about those too. But they are more than 48 inches wide and shorter than 8ft.
