Once again we're going get a little something going for the kiddos this winter. Geezer gone wild has informed me that he & Provo Sportmans warehouse would like to sponsor this again this year, so a very big thanks to both  AWESOME!!! I wish I could say my boy hooked this fish.  We fished last weekend with another shanty member. He hooked the fish and called my boy over to land the fish. My boy tried for a few minutes, but it was a little to much of a fish for him. Once on the ice my boy told me he didn't know that lakers got hat big. We figured it was a little more than half his body weight.

Yeah liv2hunt, muskyon,  I have to say when he came over and I handed him the rod and he tried to reel it in, the look on his face was priceless! and then when we got him on the ice he was totally shocked at how big the fish was, I said common you couldn't even real him in, and he said that fish is as big as me!! it was awesome!!

Here's the "HUGE  fishy" my 3 year old daughter helped me reel in this slot cutty today at the 'Berry  2016 Ice Shanty GTG. We had a total blast!

Great pic john, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the prizes at the GTG are what the kids get for the pic contest. Originally this was going to be a contest voted on by the members but with such a low posting of pics Geezer and I decided to give all the kids something. Now if in the future we have a crazy amount of pics go up we may have to revisit the idea of a vote from members. I'm going to lock this thread down and get the 2 final prizes to delement87 and crawldaddy. Sorry I should have got to this last night. Pics can still be posted in the hard water pic thread also stickied at the top of the utah page
