The gf and I are headed to pineview in the morning. We will have a large black cabelas pop up shanty set up so if you see us out there swing by and say hello. I think we will be by the port ramp and maybe in the narrows.

Thats crappy, i think this front has them a little stirred up. We did pretty good saturday and then i only got a few dink crappies yesterday

It was awesome. The gf got a little woozy from her meds and the intense sun and she felt better after sitting in the dark shanty for a bit. The cabelas brand pop ups are actually made by clam (at least that's what the guy told us) and they are built really well.

We measured 6-8" where we were. Not sure about the rest of the lake.

Going to hit up the narrows today, if the roads aren't too bad. Anyone know if they plow the canyon?

UDOT does plow the canyon. I'd be more concerned about getting equipment onto/off of the ice with all the fresh snow, gonna make pulling anything without motorized help a huge PITA.

Pineview was a bust. Nothing was plowed out.

it does take them awhile to get to plowing the edges out. People pack it down before they plow it out. Port ramp gets pretty crazy to till a few people bust a trail in

We went to mantua, bunch of dinks and 2 8" gills. Spending the night in Ogden, so we should be at the narrows early!

Hey guys anyone heard how Pineview is? Pineview is a good meeting place for a couple friends and us to get together. We were just wondering about conditions. The normal stuff how much ice? lots of snow? anybody been out and tried it lately?
