               Good morning Bud, ER's,
It's 42* and cloudy, but we had a thunderstorm around 2:30, it rained .35". ::)
Wally..........You can't trust those weather guessers. :%$#!: Did you at least get a chance for some ice cream? ???
H2l.............I'm glad that your steak was cooked to your liking. :flex: How do you like it? ???
Bud............It's a good thing that you have the barn.
Eddie..........I know we don't like the yellow flowers in the lawn but they are important for the bees. I'm glad the boys did well at their
               favorite stream. :flex:
Steve..........I'm sure the position of police chief will be filled quickly. Generally it done from within the ranks.
Yesterday was a three weather day, cloudy in the morning, the the sun came out, rained later in the day.
I hope everyone has a good Tuesday either at work or out, Stay Safe and Healthy.

Good morning ER’s. Raining started about 2:00 AM. And from the looks of the radar and what the guessers are saying I can expect several days of off and on rain.  So all the “Stormy Weather” isn’t going to be confined to just a court room 😱😱😂😂😂

I did move my big boat to the shelter of the barn. Its cover got somewhat depleted with the suns UV attacks and has become brittle, and tears easy. It also started to not shed water.

Daughter is off to the granddaughter’s sweet 16 birthday celebration, so now with all the rain may not get any time on the water in before returning to Wisconsin.

 Best to all

Good evening , temperature increase on Sunday and today went from highs in the low to meddle sixties to middle seventies on Sunday and close to eighty today. In local news the city of Newburgh police chief is resigning his position after being hired as new head of school safety and security by the Newburgh school district at a special board of education vote this past Friday. The city police department will still have leadership until a new chief is found and hired. Back in August of 2021 around the time resigning chief was a hired a two tiered leadership system was established with a police commissioner be hired at the same time. The commissioner will now oversee department operations.
Ice Wanderer My sister and I are also hoping our great aunt did not seriously injure her back when she had the fall. glad the weather Sunday allowed you to complete some outside work on your property.
Hunts2long besides the tomato juice there is a solution made with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap you bath your pet with to remove the skunk spray odor it may take a few baths to completely eliminate the odor. going by what I could find on the internet the worst thing you can do is to try and rinse it off of your pet as water reacts with something in the skunk spray and brings out the odor instead of helping to decrease it and remove from pet's fur. I do not know what year you retired but orange county has seen a population increase especially in the Monroe/Washingtonville area. the village of Washingtonville still has a small town feel as the growth has occurred mainly in surrounding Town of Blooming Grove.
Wallyworld glad you kept a check on the weather and were able to beat the rain home and not have to ride the trike on wet roads.
Eddie thank you for the link I believe California is among the top 5 states in cost of living. May this year's black fly season be a short one . Congratulations to Stephen and Mike on their good day of trout fishing.
Fish/hunt4ever may things go well for your coworker so he can return home from Ohio this week. may you not have to work any overtime and be able to fish with family and friends later in the week.

keep safe do your best to stay healthy. Good fishing wished for headed out this week.

Water temp was 51 to 53 degrees, went down with the rain and cold weather on Saturday as my buddy was out Wednesday and he said it was around 55 to 57 and went down to 51 the higher in the lake he went.  Hopefully getting out sometime this week if the weather and work cooperates.  Busy day at work again, looks like by myself again for most this week. Looks like everyone is doing good, hopefully everyone gets out and enjoys some of the outdoors.  Have a great Monday.

Good Morning Everyone,
Cloudy and 60* on the Hill this am, high of 64.

OG…glad to read your Mom is doing well Sir!      I see you still have the knack of finding some awesome deals, keep up the good work!
FH4…glad you made it out and avoided the skunk! Glad you didn’t get caught way out on the lake when the weather turned bad.   What was the water temperature up to?
Steve…add my best wishes for your Great Aunt, hopefully it’s just a pulled muscle or something minor.   Gas prices have been pretty steady in the mid to upper $3.70’$ here..seems like forever.   :%$#!:    Once again, glad we’re not out in California!
https://www.ktvu.com/news/gas-hits-above-7-mark-at-one-bay-area-station-among-the-highest-in-california#:~:text=GasBuddy%20said%20its%20data%20showed,Essex%20in%20San%20Bernardino%20County.&text=AAA%20figures%20showed%20the%20current,Nationwide%2C%20it's%20%243.66.
Jeff…it was a beautiful day yesterday for working outside other than the black flies which were out again for awhile. Did you have a problem with them yesterday?   I fired up the grill in the afternoon and just before cooking the rain moved in, just my luck!   ;D
H2…only 2 days to go until the Walleye opener!!  Weather permitting, any plans of heading out?
Wally….if it wasn’t for all those pretty yellow flowers I would have lots of bare spots!!!  ;D   Sorry your ride yesterday got cut short with the weather, better days are coming.

My sons made a trip to a trout stream they’re very fond of yesterday and crushed them. A double digit day for both with lots of pictures and a few videos they shared with me. Bragging rights went to my youngest son Stephen again landing 6 more than his older brother. They sure love the comradery and competition….. :flex:
Not much on the planner yet….Cawfee’s still hot!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

I have a trekker and  a climate , I find the trekker less bulky and plenty warm
The climate hangs in the closet
At 67 I found the trekker to be easy to walk in and was a great purchase , as the weather warms I wear a pro Qualifier rain suit

I have the Predator bibs/jacket and this year bought the Trekker bibs on sale for $99……………..BEST purchase in years! I used the Trekker bibs almost every trip this past season.
