Be sure to bring plenty of beer and snacks because pike fishing there is SLOOOOW. Every bit of the reservoir should be fishable especially on foot.
Bring a jig rod and catch a few smelt and put them on the tipups.

Was up there last weekend Feb 16-18
mixed consistency ice 10-13 inches
Saturday 4-8 huts no one around us caught anything but smelt
Sunday morning as we picked up 2 solid pike came out of the water from other huts before we left
Two other flags had smaller fish
Heading back up next weekend to try luck again and work on smelt rig.
Good luck
