Huron Bay Ice?

Any possibility of safe ice out on the bay? Never fished it, just hoping to try it out for the first time this winter. Curious to hear if there's any ice at all or if people have already been out there

I have seen a few pics of guys fishing up there last couple weeks. Ice looks real thin maybe 2-3 inches at most. All spudded holes no need for auger yet

Avron Township park is the only true public access on the bay. You could currently launch the boat out of it now.

A guy told me that huron Bay is good now. But didn't give me much detail.

I didn't go out on the ice myself but there were a couple of tents north of the township park yesterday. I don't know how much ice there actually was.
