Good luck in Curtis!  Please post a report.  Our group the BOD Fishing Team is a month out from our annual trip to Curtis!
I used to get excited about a 20 inch bass until I caught my first 40 inch dolphin.

Make sure you stop in and see Mick.  Tell her the BOD Team sent you!

This trip we are staying at my brothers place in McMillan cause it's a short trip. Our week long usually happens at Kozy's in Curtis. We love the convenience of staying on the lake and buying the wobbly pops across the road! I hope to share lots of photos with our bounty.

The weather report just ruined my day. Calling for 8-12 inches Thursday and 5-8 Friday.. I hope it changes or I will be sitting at home watching ice fishing videos on Youtube.

Joe, I'm currently planning on going up with Pat on Friday and coming home on Wednesday.

We have an appointment on the 31st with an ankle specialist and see a second Doc on the 3rd for Carly's ankle.  If they say she is out for the spring season, then I'll likely stay the whole week.  If we get good news, I will need to ration my vacation days to travel with her to tournaments.

What are you planning?  Shoot me a PM and I send you my number.  I'm in charge of food for the week.  So, I will fill you in on the plans.

Well we made it up! We were on thr South lake and fishing was a bit slow for us. Three keeper walleye, a bunch of hammer handles, a bunch of little perch and two very nice LM bass. The wind was tough and the snow was pretty much MIA. Friday after the rain, there was a LOT of water on the ice but didnt hurt the ice. It got into the teens in the evening and locked it in. We found anywhere from 8-10 inches of ice. It held a 4 person side by side great. Until there is snow,I would DEFINATELY recomend some cleats!
Micks had a great selection of minnows that were fresh!
If the group of 9 guys that ran tip ups are reading this, you were fun to watch, and I like your Eskimo hub! But next time, clean up after yourselves! Who the heck leaves a 25+ sandbag on the ice?? Let alone all of the garbage. Shame on ya!
