ok im a poor boy from wisconsin and i have to electronics to see wat depth the crappies r suspended.. wat would be the easest way to find out how much they r suspended?

Drop to bottom, crank up 3'.  Jig 1-2' up.  Crank 3 more feet.  Jig 1-2' up.  Crank 3 more feet.  Jig 1-2' up.  Crank 3 more feet.  Jig 1-2' up.  Crank......... you get the idea.  Lot's of time and effort.  If you can get your hands on electronics, use them to find the fish just one time and you can probably find them in the same general column of water the next time.
