Stingray Gas Cap Vent??
« on: Nov 30, 2011, 05:35 PM »
I got my new Stingray a few weeks ago and I love it. It fires up first pull everytime. This is my first power auger and my question is, is it normal for a little bit of gas to leak out of the vent when it's running? Also, should I open the vent the whole way or just crack it? I'm just worried about getting gas on my hands when opening and closing the vent. What do you guys do to prevent this? I guess I can just get an extra pair of gloves just to wear while drilling.

Open it all the way. Run with no more than 1/2 to 3/4 tank and ya won't have that problem. You're welcome.  ;D
