lake chocura species
« on: Jul 30, 2017, 08:06 PM »
what species do you catch on this lake in the winter? I have access to a  house in Albany and would like to do some ice fishing up that way this season. Love crappie, perch and bass fishing. never really got into trout fishing thru the ice. Have not heard of any pike in the area. I do not have  a 4 wheeler nor sled

Go to NH F&G web-site. Click on fishing - scroll down and click on maps. Depth chart, species . Good luck!

There are some quality bows in there, if you can wade through the pickerel, but you said you weren't interested in trout, sooo...

I just like to catch fish and get  a lot of flags. would like to target good sized perch and crappie. primarily and then bass. i'd go for trout before I go for pickerel. Pickerel are bycatch. I'd like to catch a Pike or walleye, but I am not aware that they rare availsble in this area. If the Pickerel are huge, that makes them fun
