Retired: Either too old to get out on the ice or may have health issues

Just not that into it.  You go out couple times a season. Usually someone asked you to go. If it isn't nice out, you don't go.
4 (2%)
Weekend warrior. You fish strictly on the weekends. Usually it's just one day, sometimes both days if given the chance.
60 (29.9%)
A regular. Will fish most weekends of the season, usually fish both days and will go out during the week if possible. Some years you fish more than others but you're fairly consistant.
92 (45.8%)
The die hard. Will fish whenever possible. Will make up lies just to be able to go fishing. Will fish in any conditions. Spends more time on the ice than at home in the winter.

#5 totally obsessed, fish like that all year long, but in the winter if i'm not slammin steelhead in the river i will be found on the ice.have been known not to tell family members about days i get off early or days off from work so they can't bother me when i'm out.   ;D

I'm a 5 with 1 issues - I've got all the desire, and time in the world to be out there fishing every day, but at 53 my body feels like George Burns, with a Evel Knievel hospital tab ... my past of 25+ days on the ice a season, is more like 4 - 6 days now with all this snow this year (and choosing only high temps., low wind days) .... but I still Love every bit of It !

I am  retired and fish whenever I want which is ALL the time. I dont need to make excuses my boss (wife ) likes to fish too.
 I have the same obsession with golf so in the summer I will combine the two many days. My health is great try to keep up young pups.

I'm a weekend warrior but I am also a serious snowmobile, trail touring addict, so it can be tough. On the weekends I am either riding or fishing.

I'm actually about a 3 and a half. I get out when I can - that's usually on the weekend, but I'll go out in anything. I was out last Sunday. Snow started at 3", ended at 14". Shanty was too much work to put up and down in the weather, so I just fished off my Glide-Lite. Had a great time, even though I didn't do so well on a tough bite.

If I can ever retire, I'll be a 4 and a half. I've got too many other irons in the fire to be a full-fledged 5.

5.except for the lies.i don't care what weather or what day.i would rather be fishing more than any other hobby.that goes for fishing all year around too.i talk about fishing everyday and try  to get out as much as possible and have accumulated a massive cache of fishing gear.haha

I more diehard I guess, I'm always looking for a new excuse to hit the Hardwater and when I do I'm out there all day, I constantly get the "where are you? When you coming home?" text from the wife!

This is only my second season but I fish every day I can, which is every day almost. My wife and I work at home and one of us has to be here. If she's here, im on the ice. If she ant here, I call  in staff and hit the ice. She ant here today and no staff could come in so im going tonight. Cost me 18 bucks an hour to leave the house some days but I still go. Lol. Guess you can call me hooked.
