Northwest indiana ice fisherman
« on: Nov 09, 2004, 10:24 AM »
Hello, anybody know if you can ice fish (or fish at all period) at pastrick marina? If so, did anyone go last year and have any luck. I use to fish off the wooden pier there 10-15 years ago. The perch fishing use to be pretty good.

There have been several on going discussions about this at several different clubs i've belonged to. Inside of Pastrick's Marina there is no ice fishing , it's a privately owner entity , although the DNR did put moneys into the project for the ramps and set up a cretain percentage of free launchs and parking for residents. Plus they have bubblers there to keep the docks from destruction. Even during the summer months there is no fishing inside the marina.
