Ice conditions on Sabattus

Anyone know the conditions on Sabattus?

There was a few snowmobiles out there over the weekend not sure about thickness but was real black on the north end before the storms a couple weeks ago

Can anyone give me an idea of how deep the snow is up there. Going to try to get there before the weekend

We got close to 18” in the sabattus area.

that does not sound fun  i travel on foot only so that would shut me down real quick

I had about 20” today on the northern part on Sabattus Pond

We are talking snow depth correct?

I was out fishing a pond close by yesterday An the conditions were A+ snow has settled really good max snow was 10” most spots were 4-6” of snow absolutely perfect for snowmobiles! I caught some nice salmon as well in the 20-22” range all released. I was hesitant about going I could see maybe this past weekend or after the storm some guys had a really hard time but this cold weather made conditions incredible!

I was fishing a lot bigger body of water an had 18” of ice I’m going bk out tomorrow. Ice fishing conditions to me r the best they have been all year! Like I said I was fishing a big lake I would be confident on any lake maybe all but Sebago!

There’s about a foot of snow in the sabattus area left on the ground the lake has probably lost some due to the wind
