Sedona ripsaw. You will probably never have to buy another set of tires for your quad after these.

Which ATV do you have?  What are the conditions you encounter, most often?

I doubt any tire will do what you want on ice.  Most people add chains to the rear.  With chains your control in the front for steering is not the best when going slow or trying to turn tight.  It gets better if you add some  snow but stills leaves a lot to be desired.

I might try a few studs on the front tires this year to go with the chains in rear.

Pick chains all around no worries.
Just be smart about on dirt surfaces.
Set mine up every season for ice fishing and sugaring.
I run the mud lites for tires on a 02' foreman 450.

Bighorns have been a great tire on my foreman.

Before my tracks - I used Bighorns with ice screws, all around.  I rate tires with screws ahead of tires with chains.

  • Ice fishing a sport, or just reason to buy stuff?

I cut down a pair of compact car chains for the rear and they work surprisingly well on ice. I use them on my 650 artic cat.  We have little snow so the front drive is not used much.   If there is any problem with steering, I just let off the gas a little.
